Nextpisode ("the app") is developed by Jose Carlos Dos Santos Junior. This policy explains what data the app does — and does not — collect.
Data Collection
Nextpisode does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on any server. There is no user account, no sign-up, and no login.
Data Stored on Your Device
The app stores the following information locally on your device only, using standard iOS on-device storage:
- Your watchlist (shows you've saved)
- Your watched-episode progress
- Scheduled local notification reminders for upcoming episodes
This data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to the developer, to TMDB, or to any third party. It is not backed up to any server the developer controls.
Third-Party Services
Nextpisode displays TV show information, images, and streaming availability using the following third-party APIs:
- The Movie Database (TMDB) — provides show details, images, cast, and trailer links.
- JustWatch (via TMDB) — provides streaming availability information.
When the app requests this content, your device connects directly to TMDB's servers. Please see TMDB's Privacy Policy and JustWatch's Privacy Policy for information on how they handle requests to their services. Nextpisode does not send any personally identifiable information as part of these requests.
Notifications
Nextpisode can schedule local notifications on your device to remind you about upcoming episodes. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device and do not involve any push notification service or external server.
Analytics and Advertising
Nextpisode does not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. No usage data is collected.
Children's Privacy
Nextpisode does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal data at all.
